Prof. Mian Riaz

Prof. Mian Riaz

Director, Extrusion Technology Program – TEES Edge, Texas A&M University, USA.

Prof. Mian Riaz has over 25 years of experience at the Process Engineering R&D Center at Texas A&M University, where he leads the Food and Feed Extrusion Program. He earned his Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Maine and is a member of the Graduate Faculty in Texas A&M's Food Science and Technology Program.

As Director since 2005, Prof. Riaz has authored seven books and more than 160 papers, primarily on extrusion. He has delivered more than 600 presentations in 60 countries.
